Calm down bucky...this has to do with betting Romania VS Italy, a post spawned from the torturous nervousness I now have to tolerate for the next 100 or so minutes as this deadly dish settles and digests on the cathode ray tube on my wall..(Well they really dont make tvs out of these any more but i like typing the phrase "cathode ray tube")

Firstly i will explain to the lost denizens of the forum, Fugu is that so sweet delicacy made from the puffer fish that has organs containing a most deadly of toxins. Tora fugu being regarded as the most delicious and containing even the more potent toxins.

Well, my book had posted a rather juicy line..Romania+470 (ml) and as usual as i am going through the tortorous decision of submitting my bet (involved several hesistant stops to check out this and that detail right before my finger could hit the left click button on my mouse) the line suddenly changed to +450. This has happened once to often to me and i am beginning to think that my book dost play fugly games with my lines!!!!

Any way, in my opinion this is a 50-50 game, but we have a +450 line for one side.. I say take the shot, eat the fugu:smoker2:

Then wait just 90 minutes and see if your stomach is turned inside out or not!!!

Italy are the better side by far and they have started strong.. but i think Romania can hold out for the first half at least.

Another draw is rather possible though.

I agree. It should've been a goal. Its a very tough call for the refs though, play develops so fast and its a decision they make in fractions of a second. With instant replay and slow motion its an easy call. But yes, he was not offside.

Ok may be he was on by a hair... Ref cant be blamed on that one.. play took microseconds to develop and he had to move from and offside position to onside in the split second before the ball was contacted again and then back into play..

you cant fault the ref for not seeing this..


The romanians put forth a valiant effort. I have to say the defensive tactic they had killed their chances. They simply let italy put on way too much pressure. I was getting so pissed off when they would let any one on the wings have a completely free unbothered run right down the side line and not bother to contact them until they were almost the the box!!!!


And that missed penalty kick!!!!:WTF: That would have been a huge freakin payday for me!!!!!!


Regardless tonight we reload and unleash a very unhealthy wad on a game tomorrow!!!!
